Who we are

Service Stak builds and hosts websites for home-service trade businesses. We operate out of Orlando, Florida. If you have a question about anything here, email calvin@servicestak.com.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site — a preview request, a quote request, or a contact form — we collect what you type into it. That is typically:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• your business name and trade
• anything you write in a message field

If you become a paying customer, our payment processor collects your billing details. We never see or store your full card number.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. We use these to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to build the preview you asked for, to send the emails you would expect from us, and to take payment if you decide to go ahead. That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Google Firebase — stores form submissions and account data
• Resend — delivers our transactional email
• Stripe — processes payments and stores billing details
• Vercel — hosts the site and keeps server logs

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to the dashboard, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in. That is it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we might reasonably still be talking to you, and customer records for as long as we have a business relationship plus whatever period tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from any non-essential email using the link in the message, or by replying and telling us to stop. Email calvin@servicestak.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is meant for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be pointed out rather than slipped in quietly.
