Do I need the camera, or is that an upsell?
For a first-time slow drain, no. For anything that has backed up before, yes, and we will not quote a repair without one. Guessing at a main line is how people end up paying twice.
Will jetting damage old pipe?
It can, on cast iron that is already scaled through. That is exactly what the camera tells us beforehand, and why we look first.
