What moves the number
- Scope of the plan
- A single border reads differently than a whole-property master plan. We can phase a large plan across seasons so the budget is spread and the grounds are never torn up all at once.
- Plant material caliper
- Larger specimens cost more and give you the finished look sooner. Smaller stock establishes faster and often overtakes it by year four. We show you both numbers.
- What is underground
- Irrigation, drainage, and root systems all get touched during a build. Finding them during design rather than during excavation is what keeps a project on its number.

Do I have to build the whole plan at once?
No. Most master plans are phased over two or three seasons. The plan is drawn as a whole so that each phase lands correctly, but the work is staged around your budget.
Do you guarantee the plantings?
Trees and shrubs we install carry a one-year replacement warranty when the property remains on one of our maintenance programs. Establishment is most of what determines whether a planting lives.
