What moves the number
- Tree size and access
- A forty-foot oak over a roofline is rigged down piece by piece. The same tree in open lawn is a fraction of the time. Access drives more of the price than height does.
- Condition at assessment
- Trees pruned correctly on a cycle need less each time. A tree that has not been touched in a decade requires a heavier first visit and a lighter one after.
- What the problem actually is
- Decline has many causes and most of them are below grade. We diagnose before treating, which occasionally means the answer is irrigation, not chemistry.

Can you save a tree that is already declining?
Sometimes. It depends on the cause and how far it has gone. We will tell you honestly when a tree is past saving rather than sell treatments that only delay the removal.
Do you top trees?
No. Topping ruins structure and shortens the life of a tree. If a canopy needs reducing, it is done with proper reduction cuts to lateral branches.
